Overview
Salol + Menthol is a combination over-the-counter (OTC) product developed and marketed by the Thai pharmaceutical company Boss Pharmacare under the brand name Flying Rabbit: Mist Salol et Menthol. The formulation contains phenyl salicylate (salol), which provides mild antiseptic and analgesic properties, and menthol, which exerts cooling, analgesic, and mild local anesthetic effects through the activation of TRPM8 receptors. It is traditionally used in Southeast Asian markets for the symptomatic relief of minor pain, nasal congestion, and respiratory discomfort via topical application or inhalation.
