This combination therapy consists of four distinct agents: **pictilisib**, a pan-phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor; **carboplatin**, a platinum-based DNA-damaging chemotherapeutic; **paclitaxel**, a microtubule stabilizer; and **bevacizumab**, a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) to inhibit angiogenesis. The regimen has been evaluated in phase Ib trials for solid tumors, including locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer and non–small cell lung cancer, aiming to simultaneously block PI3K-mediated growth signaling, induce DNA damage, disrupt microtubules, and inhibit tumor blood vessel formation. Typical administration is intravenous for carboplatin, paclitaxel, and bevacizumab, with oral administration for pictilisib. This combination is investigational and not an established standard of care.
