Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RegenLab PRP refers to a range of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) preparation systems developed by Regen Lab SA. The technology utilizes specialized vacuum tubes containing a proprietary thixotropic separator gel to isolate platelets and plasma from whole blood while removing pro-inflammatory red blood cells and granulocytes. Upon administration, the concentrated platelets undergo activation, releasing a concentrated cocktail of endogenous growth factors—including Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF), Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β), and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). These factors stimulate cellular proliferation, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix synthesis, facilitating tissue repair and regeneration. It is primarily indicated for musculoskeletal conditions like osteoarthritis and tendinopathies, as well as in aesthetic medicine for skin rejuvenation and the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.
