Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PM8002 + etoposide + platinum is a combination regimen comprising PM8002, a bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), etoposide, a topoisomerase II inhibitor, and a platinum-based chemotherapy agent (cisplatin or carboplatin). PM8002 blocks PD-L1 on tumor cells to restore T-cell function and neutralizes VEGF-A to inhibit angiogenesis, promoting both immune-mediated tumor killing and suppression of tumor vascularization. This regimen is under investigation for the treatment of extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) and has shown promising efficacy and disease control in frontline treatment of unresectable pleural and peritoneal mesothelioma. PM8002 was developed by Biotheus and is also referenced by the code BNT327 in certain clinical trials[1][2][3].
