Poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer is a repetitively branched, three-dimensional nanomolecule being investigated by Egymedicalpedia for the treatment of white spot lesions (WSLs) in dental enamel. As a biomimetic remineralizing agent, PAMAM dendrimers promote enamel remineralization by adsorbing mineral deposits and facilitating the restoration of demineralized enamel surfaces. In clinical trials, it is being evaluated both as a monotherapy and in combination with nano-hydroxyapatite to improve the microhardness of demineralized enamel in young adults aged 15-25 years.
