Overview

This investigational cancer immunotherapy, developed at the Medical University of South Carolina, consists of autologous dendritic cells pulsed with three tumor-associated antigen peptides (hTERT, CEA, and survivin) and administered alongside the TLR3 agonist adjuvant Poly-ICLC (Hiltonol). The vaccine is designed to induce and expand tumor-specific CD8+ T-cell responses in HLA-A2+ patients. It has been primarily evaluated for the treatment of metastatic or locally advanced unresectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma, where it demonstrated safety and the ability to elicit measurable immune responses in early-phase clinical testing.
