Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Porcine Circovirus Type 2 Vaccine (SET Technology) is a DNA/RNA-based veterinary vaccine currently in the optimization phase of development by SET Technology. It is designed to protect swine against Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (PCV2), the primary agent responsible for Porcine Circovirus Associated Diseases (PCVAD), such as Postweaning Multisystemic Wasting Syndrome (PMWS). The vaccine utilizes SET Technology's proprietary synthetic expression platform to deliver genetic material encoding PCV2 antigens, thereby stimulating an immune response to prevent infection and associated clinical signs in pigs.
