Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Porcine pseudorabies live vaccine, heat-resistant protectant (C strain) is a live attenuated veterinary vaccine developed by Youbang Pharmaceutical for the prevention of pseudorabies (Aujeszky's disease) in swine. The vaccine utilizes the natural gene-deficient C strain of the pseudorabies virus (PRV), which allows for the differentiation of infected from vaccinated animals (DIVA). Formulated with an advanced heat-resistant freeze-drying protectant, the vaccine maintains stability and potency at 2–8°C for up to 24 months. It is administered via intramuscular injection or intranasal instillation to induce rapid and long-lasting protective neutralizing antibodies in pigs.
