Overview
This is a veterinary bivalent inactivated vaccine developed by Youbang Pharmaceutical for the prevention of Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis (TGE) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PED). The vaccine contains inactivated antigens of both the Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus (TGEV) and the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV). It is designed to stimulate the production of specific neutralizing antibodies in swine. When administered to pregnant sows, it provides passive immunity to neonatal piglets through the colostrum, which is critical for protecting them against the severe dehydration and mortality associated with these enteric viral infections. The product is an approved veterinary biologic in China.
