POSVAX Alzheimer's Disease Vaccine is a virus-like particle (VLP)-based therapeutic vaccine candidate currently in preclinical development for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Developed using POSVAX's proprietary VLP platform, the vaccine utilizes yeast-derived viral capsid proteins that self-assemble into spherical particles. These particles are engineered to display specific Alzheimer's-related antigenic epitopes, intended to stimulate the patient's immune system to target and clear pathological proteins associated with the disease. A key feature of this platform is its ability to trigger a potent immune response without the requirement for additional adjuvants, as the VLP structure itself is designed to be highly immunogenic.
