**Pramipexole + ondansetron** is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents: pramipexole, a non-ergot dopamine agonist, and ondansetron, a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. This combination is under investigation and protected by patent for use in treating Parkinson's disease (PD), PD-related disorders, and Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). The rationale is to utilize pramipexole's dopaminergic activity to improve motor symptoms in PD and RLS, while ondansetron mitigates dopaminergic adverse effects (especially nausea and vomiting) by antagonizing 5-HT3 receptors. Preclinical and clinical data suggest that the combination may permit higher, more effective doses of pramipexole while improving tolerability and possibly slowing PD progression.
