This prebiotic-based mouthwash was developed by ROSAIMPEX LTD in collaboration with the Medical University of Plovdiv specifically for the treatment of generalized gingivitis. The formulation is designed to promote a healthy oral microbiome by selectively supporting beneficial bacteria, thereby reducing plaque accumulation and gingival inflammation. In a randomized controlled clinical trial (NCT04733196) involving 180 patients, the prebiotic mouthwash demonstrated significant clinical efficacy in improving the gingival index, bleeding index, and oral hygiene index over a 21-day treatment period, performing comparably or superiorly to traditional antiseptic agents like chlorhexidine and hydrogen peroxide.
