Precision cells is an autologous cell-based immunotherapy protocol developed by Shanghai International Medical Center for the treatment of advanced malignancies, including lung and liver cancer. The therapy utilizes a combination of dendritic cells (DC) and a specialized mixture of activated immune cells known as PNAT (Patient-specific Natural killer cell and Activated T cell) and PMAT (Patient-specific Memory Activated T cell). The dendritic cells are administered via subcutaneous injection to prime the immune system by presenting tumor-associated antigens, while the PNAT and PMAT cells are infused intravenously to provide direct, broad-spectrum cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. This multi-component approach is designed to overcome tumor-induced immunosuppression and is typically evaluated in combination with standard-of-care treatments like chemotherapy or transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE).
