A multi-agent chemotherapy combination composed of seven antineoplastic drugs: **prednisone**, **procarbazine**, **lomustine**, **hydroxyurea**, **cytarabine**, **cyclophosphamide**, and **methotrexate**. This regimen brings together drugs from multiple classes: - **Prednisone**: a glucocorticoid with immunosuppressive and cytotoxic effects. - **Procarbazine** and **lomustine**: alkylating agents that damage DNA, preventing cancer cell replication. - **Hydroxyurea**: inhibits ribonucleotide reductase, blocking DNA synthesis. - **Cytarabine** and **methotrexate**: antimetabolites that interfere with DNA and RNA synthesis. - **Cyclophosphamide**: an alkylating agent and immunosuppressant causing DNA cross-linking. This combination protocol is not standard in human or veterinary oncology literature, but analogous regimens using subsets of these drugs are used for lymphomas and certain other cancers [1][2][4][5][7][10][11]. The mechanism of action is cumulative cytotoxicity via DNA damage, inhibition of DNA synthesis, and cell cycle arrest, primarily targeting rapidly proliferating malignant cells.
