Propofol + clonidine is a combination of two drugs used primarily in anesthesia and procedural sedation. Propofol is an intravenous anesthetic agent that acts mainly as a positive allosteric modulator of the gamma-aminobutyric acid type A (GABA-A) receptor, leading to central nervous system depression and rapid induction of unconsciousness.
