Overview

A combination of three drugs used to reduce pain associated with propofol injection during anesthesia induction. Propofol is an intravenous anesthetic agent, while lidocaine (a local anesthetic) and magnesium sulfate are administered as pretreatment to mitigate the pain commonly experienced during propofol injection, especially when administered into small veins on the dorsum of the hand.
