Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of three anesthetic agents used for total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA). Propofol is a short-acting intravenous anesthetic agent, remifentanil is a potent short-acting synthetic opioid with rapid onset and recovery, and sufentanil is a powerful synthetic opioid approximately 5-10 times more potent than fentanyl. This combination provides effective sedation, analgesia, and anesthesia while potentially reducing the individual doses needed of each component, resulting in improved hemodynamic stability and reduced stress responses during surgical procedures.
