PSMA + GD2 CAR T cells is an investigational fourth-generation dual-target chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Guangdong Clifford Hospital. It is designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory grade IV glioma. The therapy involves the co-administration of two distinct CAR-T cell products: one targeting Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) and another targeting Disialoganglioside (GD2). By targeting two different antigens commonly expressed on glioma cells and within the tumor microenvironment, the therapy aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity and reduce the risk of antigen escape. In early-phase clinical studies, the treatment has demonstrated preliminary efficacy with a manageable safety profile, achieving an overall response rate of 50% in a small cohort of patients.
