**Pt2(3-ethylpyridine)4(berenil)2** is an experimental dinuclear platinum(II) coordination complex, also termed Pt10, investigated as an antineoplastic agent in human breast-cancer cell models. In MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cells, it inhibited proliferation and thymidine incorporation more potently than cisplatin in the reported in-vitro study and induced apoptotic cell death associated with phosphatidylserine externalization, mitochondrial membrane-potential loss, caspase-3, caspase-8 and caspase-9 activation, and DNA degradation.
