Overview
This oral herbal combination preparation, consisting of pumpkin seed oil (*Cucurbita pepo*), Rhois bark dry extract (*Rhois aromatica*), and hop strobile dry extract (*Humulus lupulus*), is used to treat symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB) in women. Developed by GSK Consumer Healthcare (now Haleon), the product is marketed under the brand name Granu Fink Femina in certain European markets. The mechanism of action is attributed to the combined effects of its botanical ingredients: pumpkin seed oil is believed to strengthen the pelvic floor and bladder muscles; Rhois bark (sumac) acts as an astringent to reduce urinary frequency; and hop strobiles provide calming effects on the bladder. It has been studied in Phase 4 clinical trials to confirm its efficacy in reducing micturition frequency and urgency.
