PV-10 + pembrolizumab

PV-10 + pembrolizumab is a combination therapy of **PV-10** (rose bengal disodium), an intralesional small molecule oncolytic immunotherapy, and **pembrolizumab** (a systemic anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor). PV-10 induces immunogenic cell death and can stimulate both local and systemic immune responses through tumor-specific T-cell activation. Pembrolizumab blocks the PD-1 receptor on T cells, releasing immune suppression and enhancing anti-tumor immunity. The combination is primarily investigated for synergistic effects in advanced melanoma, aiming to increase objective response rate, complete response rate, and progression-free survival.
