Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This combination involves **cisplatin**, a platinum-based antineoplastic drug that works by forming DNA adducts, leading to apoptosis; **mitomycin C**, an alkylating agent that cross-links DNA; **vindesine**, a vinca alkaloid that inhibits microtubule assembly; **tegafur**, a prodrug of 5-fluorouracil, which interferes with DNA synthesis; and **uracil**, which enhances the bioavailability of tegafur. This regimen is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
