Overview
PVX-410 + lenalidomide is a **combination therapy** under investigation for the treatment of smoldering multiple myeloma. PVX-410 is a multi-peptide therapeutic cancer vaccine designed to induce a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte response against tumor-associated antigens highly expressed in multiple myeloma, specifically targeting XBP1, CD138, and CS1 antigens. Lenalidomide is a thalidomide derivative immunomodulatory agent with antineoplastic and anti-angiogenic properties, acting primarily through cereblon modulation to enhance T cell and NK cell responses. In combination, PVX-410 stimulates antigen-specific adaptive immunity, while lenalidomide further modulates the immune microenvironment, enhancing the immunogenic potential of the vaccine. This combination aims to delay or prevent the progression of smoldering multiple myeloma by reinforcing T cell-mediated immunity against myeloma cells[1][2][4][5][7].
