This is a combination regimen consisting of three agents: pyrotinib, albumin-bound paclitaxel, and trastuzumab. Pyrotinib is an oral irreversible pan-ErbB receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets HER1, HER2, and HER4 receptors. Albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel) is a microtubule inhibitor formulated with human albumin to improve solubility and reduce hypersensitivity reactions compared to conventional formulations. Trastuzumab is a monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to the extracellular domain of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), inhibiting proliferation of cells overexpressing this protein. The combination has been investigated as neoadjuvant therapy for patients with HER2-positive breast cancer, aiming to enhance pathological complete response rates by dual targeting of the HER family alongside cytotoxic chemotherapy. Clinical studies have demonstrated significant efficacy and manageable safety in this setting[4][7].
