Overview

QL1706 + QL1604 is a combination of two investigational immune checkpoint inhibitors developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical. QL1706 is a bifunctional monoclonal antibody mixture containing an anti-PD-1 IgG4 and an anti-CTLA-4 IgG1 antibody, offering dual checkpoint blockade, while QL1604 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1, sharing the anti-PD-1 component sequence with QL1706. Both drugs are evaluated in combination, often with anti-angiogenic agents like bevacizumab, for advanced or unresectable cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma and non-small cell lung cancer. The main mechanisms are immune checkpoint inhibition via PD-1 and CTLA-4 pathways; the combination aims to leverage complementary immune-modulating effects to enhance antitumor responses while potentially balancing toxicity profiles[1][2][5][6][9][13].
