Overview

Jiangsu Jindike Biotechnology's quadrivalent influenza vaccine (split virion) is an inactivated biologic designed to provide broad protection against seasonal influenza. It incorporates four virus strains—A/H1N1, A/H3N2, and both B lineages (Victoria and Yamagata)—following WHO recommendations. The vaccine works by presenting split, inactivated viral antigens, primarily hemagglutinin, to the immune system to induce protective antibody production. It is currently approved in China for use in adults and children aged 3 years and older, while clinical trials (such as CTR20251189) are evaluating its safety and immunogenicity in infants and toddlers aged 6 to 35 months.
