Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A quadrivalent split-virion influenza vaccine developed by Ab&B Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. JS. It is an inactivated vaccine containing hemagglutinin antigens from four distinct influenza virus strains: two Influenza A subtypes (H1N1 and H3N2) and two Influenza B lineages (Victoria and Yamagata). The vaccine works by inducing the production of hemagglutination inhibition (HI) antibodies against these surface antigens, providing active immunity to prevent seasonal influenza. In clinical trials, such as NCT05645900, it has been utilized as an active comparator to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of novel influenza vaccine candidates in pediatric populations aged 6 to 35 months.
