ras peptide cancer vaccine + QS21 is an investigational immunotherapy combination developed by the Fox Chase Cancer Center for the treatment of advanced pancreatic and colorectal cancers. The regimen consists of a peptide-based vaccine targeting mutated RAS proteins, which are common drivers in these malignancies, administered in conjunction with the saponin-based adjuvant QS21. QS21 is derived from the bark of the *Quillaja saponaria* tree and serves to enhance the body's immune response to the vaccine antigens. The primary goal of this therapy is to induce a specific T-cell response against tumor cells expressing mutated RAS, potentially leading to tumor cell death. This combination was primarily studied in a Phase I dose-escalation clinical trial.
