RC118 + toripalimab

RC118 + toripalimab is a combination investigational therapy under clinical development for the treatment of patients with Claudin 18.2–positive, locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic solid tumors, including gastric cancer, gastroesophageal junction cancer, esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, and cholangiocarcinoma. - RC118 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Claudin 18.2, a tight-junction protein selectively expressed in some solid tumors. It delivers a cytotoxic payload to cancer cells expressing this target, leveraging targeted delivery for antineoplastic effect. - Toripalimab is a monoclonal antibody that blocks PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1), functioning as a checkpoint inhibitor to promote immune-mediated tumor cell killing. The combination is intended to combine targeted cytotoxicity (via RC118) with immune checkpoint blockade (via toripalimab), potentially increasing efficacy relative to either agent alone. The safety, tolerability, and efficacy of the combination are being evaluated in Phase I/II studies, with the developer being RemeGen.
