**RD3[GD2]IL-2** is a preclinical, precision-engineered nano-immunotherapeutic for progressive neuroblastoma. It consists of a chemically stabilized RD3 peptide formulation encapsulated in GD2-conjugated immunoliposomes designed to preferentially home to GD2-expressing neuroblastoma cells, particularly tumors with retinal degeneration protein 3 deficiency. In a patient-derived stage 4 progressive neuroblastoma mouse model, intravenous administration increased intratumoral CD4-positive and CD8-positive T-cell infiltration and GITR-positive activated T-cell populations, consistent with restoration of antitumor immune surveillance in an immunologically cold tumor setting. The candidate was reported to have favorable tumor homing and no observable systemic toxicity or off-target effects in the reported mouse study.
