Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Recombinant Human Coagulation Factor VIII for Injection is a recombinant protein biologic developed by Wuhan Zhong Yuan Rui De Biological Products (a subsidiary of Chengdu Rongsheng Pharmaceutical and Tiantan Bio) for the treatment of hemophilia A. As a replacement therapy, the drug provides the deficient Coagulation Factor VIII protein necessary for the blood clotting cascade. By restoring functional levels of Factor VIII, it corrects the bleeding tendency and allows for the formation of stable fibrin clots in patients with hemophilia A. The product is administered via intravenous injection and has received regulatory approval in China.
