Recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone (JZB30) is a biosimilar therapeutic developed for use in assisted reproductive technology, specifically for controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) and ovulation induction. It is designed to mimic the activity of endogenous follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which plays a key role in the regulation of reproductive processes by stimulating the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles in women and spermatogenesis in men. JZB30 has been evaluated for bioequivalence, safety, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and efficacy compared to Gonal-f (the reference FSH product originally developed by Merck Serono). Clinical trials have included healthy adult female subjects as well as patients undergoing assisted reproduction or with idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism[1][2][3][5].
