This is a recombinant 9-valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine produced using the *Hansenula polymorpha* yeast expression system. It is designed to prevent infections and associated diseases caused by nine HPV types: 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58. The vaccine consists of recombinant L1 proteins that self-assemble into virus-like particles (VLPs), which trigger a protective immune response by inducing neutralizing antibodies against the L1 capsid protein of the respective HPV types. Developed through a collaboration involving Abzymo Biosciences, Xiamen University, Wantai BioPharm, and Shanghai Bovax, it is administered via intramuscular injection. The vaccine is indicated for the prevention of cervical cancer, genital warts, anal and penile cancers, and related intraepithelial neoplasias. It has been approved for marketing in China.
