Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Recombinant stabilized rsv a prefusion f antigen + recombinant stabilized rsv b prefusion f antigen** is a bivalent recombinant protein subunit RSV vaccine marketed as **Abrysvo** and developed by **Pfizer**. It contains two stabilized prefusion forms of the respiratory syncytial virus fusion glycoprotein F, one derived from RSV subgroup A and one from subgroup B, designed to induce neutralizing antibodies against prefusion F and thereby prevent RSV-associated lower respiratory tract disease. The vaccine is used for prevention of RSV disease in older adults and in pregnant individuals to protect infants through passive maternal immunization.
