The Recombinant Staphylococcus Aureus Vaccine (Escherichia coli) is a biologic subunit vaccine candidate developed by Chongqing Yuanlun Biotechnology in collaboration with the Third Military Medical University (PLA, China). The vaccine is produced using recombinant protein expression technology within an *Escherichia coli* host system. It is designed to elicit a protective immune response against *Staphylococcus aureus* by targeting multiple key virulence factors and surface antigens, such as alpha-hemolysin (Hla) and iron-regulated surface determinant B (IsdB). The primary clinical focus is the prevention of postoperative *S. aureus* infections in adult patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgeries, such as closed fracture repairs. The program has progressed to Phase III clinical trials in China to evaluate its protective efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity.
