Overview

Reconyl (marketed as HerbaKOF) is a standardized polyherbal formulation developed by Dexa Medica for the treatment of acute cough and sore throat. It is classified as a Modern Indonesian Herbal Medicine (OMAI) and is composed of extracts from four plants: *Vitex trifolia* (lagundi) leaf, *Zingiber officinale* (ginger) rhizome, *Abrus precatorius* (saga) leaf, and *Phaleria macrocarpa* (mahkota dewa) fruit. The formulation is designed to provide antitussive, anti-inflammatory, and demulcent effects, helping to suppress cough reflexes and soothe irritated throat mucosa.
