Overview

REGN5713 + REGN5715 is a combination of two human monoclonal antibodies developed to treat allergic responses to birch pollen, specifically targeting individuals with **birch (Betula) pollen allergy**. These antibodies are designed to bind and block Bet v 1, the major allergenic protein in birch pollen, thereby preventing its interaction with IgE on mast cells and basophils, and reducing the subsequent allergic cascade. REGN5713 and REGN5715 bind noncompetitively to distinct epitopes on Bet v 1, thereby delivering a broad blockade of this allergen. The combination has shown efficacy in reducing ocular and nasal allergy symptoms following birch pollen exposure in clinical studies, with demonstrated safety and tolerability in phase 1 and phase 3 trials. It is developed and trialed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals[2][4][5][7][9].
