This is a combination therapy consisting of relmacabtagene autoleucel and sintilimab. Relmacabtagene autoleucel (relma-cel) is an autologous anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy that utilizes a 4-1BB costimulatory domain to target and eliminate CD19-positive B-cells. Sintilimab is a recombinant humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that acts as a checkpoint inhibitor by binding to the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, thereby blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 to restore T-cell anti-tumor activity. The combination is being investigated in Phase II clinical trials led by Sun Yat-sen University for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and follicular lymphoma (FL).
