remifentanil + lidocaine

Remifentanil + lidocaine is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents commonly used in anesthesia and perioperative pain management. Remifentanil is an ultra-short-acting synthetic opioid analgesic that acts as a potent agonist at the µ-opioid receptor, providing rapid-onset and short-duration analgesia. It is primarily used for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia, conscious sedation, and postoperative pain control[1][4][6]. Lidocaine is a widely used local anesthetic with additional properties including suppression of cough reflexes, analgesia, anti-hyperalgesia, and anti-inflammatory effects[5].
