Overview

Revita is a shelf-stable, full-thickness human placental membrane allograft developed by StimLabs for the treatment of chronic wounds, specifically diabetic foot ulcers. It is processed using the proprietary Clearify method, which preserves the complete placental membrane—including the amnion, chorion, and the intermediate (spongy) layer—while maintaining the physiologic 3D structure of the tissue. As a biologic wound covering, Revita provides a natural scaffold and barrier that supports wound closure and reduces healing time. It is regulated by the FDA as a human cell, tissue, or cellular or tissue-based product (HCT/P) under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act, intended for homologous use as a wound covering.
