Overview

rhRIG + vaccine is a combination therapy for post-exposure prophylaxis against rabies. It consists of recombinant human anti-rabies monoclonal antibody (rhRIG, also known as Ormutivimab) administered in conjunction with rabies vaccine. The rhRIG component provides immediate passive immunity at the wound site, offering protection during the window period before the rabies vaccine establishes active immunity. This combination approach is designed to prevent the onset of rabies following potential exposure to the virus.
