rifasutenizol + rabeprazole

Rifasutenizol + rabeprazole is an oral fixed-dose combination investigated primarily for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection. Rifasutenizol (code name TNP-2198) is a novel dual-targeted antibacterial agent developed specifically for H. pylori; it is combined with rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor. Rabeprazole works by irreversibly inhibiting the gastric H+/K+-ATPase in parietal cells, suppressing gastric acid secretion that facilitates the antibacterial efficacy against H. pylori. Clinical trials indicate that the regimen rifasutenizol + rabeprazole, sometimes in triple combination with amoxicillin, was generally safe, well tolerated, and highly effective, reaching H. pylori eradication rates of up to 95–100% in certain dose regimens.
