Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RQ3025 is a bivalent mRNA-based vaccine developed for the prevention of COVID-19. It is designed to provide broad protection against SARS-CoV-2 by targeting the spike proteins of multiple variants, specifically the Alpha/Beta strains and the Omicron BA.2/4/5 subvariants. The vaccine utilizes lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technology to deliver mRNA encoding the viral antigens, stimulating both humoral and cellular immune responses. It has been evaluated as a booster dose in individuals previously vaccinated with other COVID-19 vaccines to enhance neutralizing antibody levels against circulating variants.
