Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RSLV-145 + tenecteplase is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). RSLV-145 is a bispecific RNase/DNase-Fc fusion protein developed by Resolve Therapeutics that degrades extracellular RNA and DNA, specifically targeting neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) which are associated with resistance to thrombolysis and poor clinical outcomes in stroke. Tenecteplase is a recombinant fibrin-specific tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) that converts plasminogen to plasmin to dissolve blood clots. By combining RSLV-145 with tenecteplase, the therapy aims to digest NETs within thrombi to restore thrombolytic efficacy and degrade extracellular RNA to limit reperfusion injury, thereby improving clinical outcomes in acute ischemic stroke.
