Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rupixiao is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula widely used in China for the treatment of breast diseases, particularly mammary gland hyperplasia (fibrocystic breast disease) and early-stage mastitis. It is composed of multiple herbal and animal-derived ingredients, including Cornu Cervi (deer horn), Herba Taraxaci (dandelion), Thallus Laminariae (kelp), Radix Trichosanthis, Caulis Spatholobi, Radix Notoginseng, and Radix Paeoniae Rubra, among others. Rupixiao is formulated to promote blood circulation, clear heat, detoxify, and soften hardness to dissipate nodules. It is manufactured by several pharmaceutical companies in China, including Shenyang Hongyao Group and Liaoning Haohushi Pharmaceuticals, and has been evaluated in clinical trials for its efficacy in reducing breast pain and nodule size.
