Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ruzaltatug rezetecan + bevacizumab is an investigational combination regimen consisting of ruzaltatug rezetecan (SHR-A2009), a human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3)-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), and bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). Ruzaltatug rezetecan comprises a fully human anti-HER3 IgG1 monoclonal antibody conjugated to a proprietary DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor payload via an enzyme-cleavable linker. Bevacizumab is an established anti-angiogenic agent that inhibits tumor neovascularization. The combination is being developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals and its subsidiary Suzhou Suncadia Biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly in patients with EGFR mutations who have progressed after EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy. The regimen has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and is currently being evaluated in Phase III clinical trials.
