RXC007 + nintedanib is an experimental combination therapy under investigation for fibrotic lung diseases, specifically idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and interstitial lung disease (ILD). RXC007 is a selective, orally active small molecule inhibitor of Rho-associated coiled-coil containing protein kinase 2 (ROCK2), a critical modulator of cellular growth, inflammatory response, and fibrosis, with potential disease-modifying anti-fibrotic effects. Nintedanib is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that targets multiple growth factor receptors (FGFR, VEGFR, PDGFR, CSF1R, and FLT3), suppressing fibroblast proliferation and migration and thus slowing fibrosis progression. Both are administered orally and are being evaluated together to assess potential additive or synergistic anti-fibrotic benefit in clinical studies[1][2][7].
