s-Amlodipine + Chlorthalidone

s-Amlodipine + chlorthalidone is a fixed-dose combination of two antihypertensive agents used primarily for the treatment of high blood pressure. s-Amlodipine is the S-enantiomer of amlodipine, a long-acting calcium channel blocker that inhibits L-type calcium channel (Cav1.2) in vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral vascular resistance.
