Overview
Salbesone is an inhaled fixed-dose combination medication developed and manufactured by Midas Care, primarily indicated for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains salbutamol, a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist (SABA) that provides immediate relief of bronchospasm by stimulating beta-2 receptors in the lungs, leading to airway smooth muscle relaxation. The second component, beclomethasone dipropionate, is a potent inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that targets the glucocorticoid receptor to suppress the underlying inflammatory response associated with chronic respiratory conditions.
