Overview

A combination of two MET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) that have been studied *in comparison* for use in various cancers, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with MET alterations. Savolitinib is a highly selective MET inhibitor, while crizotinib inhibits MET along with ALK and ROS1 kinases. Clinical studies comparing these agents in MET-altered NSCLC have shown varying results depending on the type of MET alteration. In MET exon 14 skipping NSCLC, savolitinib showed numerically longer but not statistically significant better survival than crizotinib. However, in MET amplification, savolitinib demonstrated significantly better progression-free survival (7.1 months vs 1.4 months for crizotinib). While studied in comparative trials, this is not typically a co-administered fixed-dose combination product but rather represents alternative therapeutic options.
